Hotel de las letras

Project Overview: In 2008, Hotel Las Letras in Barcelona upgraded its digital presence with a pioneering website designed to enhance usability and adapt seamlessly across various devices, simplifying the booking process for users.

Design Philosophy: Employed HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to craft a fluid and responsive design. The integration of a backend reservation engine ensured seamless interaction with the hotel’s management system, providing an optimal experience on all platforms.

Brand Identity and Reach: The redesigned website became the primary online platform for Hotel Las Letras, focusing on liquid design for optimal navigation and aesthetic elegance, serving as the main interaction point for potential guests.

Marketing and Digital Strategy: The site was among the first in the hospitality industry to use a liquid design, adapting dynamically to browser and device changes. It featured an automated booking engine that streamlined reservations and improved operational efficiency.

Role and Impact: As the lead web designer and developer, I was responsible for the website’s interface design, integration of the booking system, and overseeing the development process to ensure high usability and functionality. The project set a new industry standard for hotel website design, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and strengthening the hotel's market position through improved guest access and engagement.
